Dr. Can SAYGINER has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems at Izmir Democracy University since 2022. He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering, an MSc in Information Technology, and a PhD in Business Administration. His research interests include statistics, data mining, machine learning algorithms, and multivariate data analysis.

Dr. SAYGINER led the correlation analysis in WP6 and coordinated the implementation of R packages throughout the project. He also contributed to several work packages, including supporting the creation of the database in WP1, assisting in the development of future Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) scenarios and conducting machine learning algorithm trials in WP3, conducting change and transition analyses in WP5, and contributing to the development of spatial strategies and solutions in WP7.
