Aim

Work Package 3 aims to create future LULC scenarios for the study area using PLUS Model (Patch-Generating Land Use Simulation Model) with the contributions of land expansion drivers.

Outputs

• Identifying the factors that drive change and determining their contributions to the change.
• Revealing the growth probabilities of LULC classes through the application of the LEAS module.
• Demonstrating the relationship between changes in LULC types between two dates and the driving factors using the Random Forest Algorithm through the application of the CARS module, thereby enabling the simulation of future LULC.
• Creating LULC scenarios for 2040 (Natural Development Scenario-NDS, Economic Development Scenario-EDS, Ecological Protection Scenario-EPS and Economic-Ecologic Development Scenario-EEDS) based on the LEAS and CARS model parameters.
