Aim

Work Package 1 aims to procure time series, ground-based, remotely sensed/ground data, written and visual documents, as well as software, packages, and modules to be used in the creation of a spatial database for the province of Izmir.

Outputs

• LULC data - Multi temporal Landsat imagery (Landsat 5 TM and Landsat 8 OLI) and the CORINE Land Cover dataset.
• LULC reference data - ArcGIS Online Basemaps, OpenStreetMap (OSM) data, and Google Earth Timelapse.
• Climate data - Annual average temperature (0C) and precipitation (mm).
• Environmental data - Environmental Regulation Plan of Izmir, Digital Elevation Model (DEM), slope, and soil maps.
• Socio-economic data - spatial demographic data and real GDP.
• Written documents - Strategic documents, action plan, and policy reports from the EC, EU, national and local authorities.
• Tools - Mapping and spatial data analysis software's, and R packages.
